Academic System

Year 1 
■Foundation Year
Basic of Drawings & Design

First year is the foundation year. In the first semester, all students learn basic things to understand what is art and design based on the same curriculum regardless of their expecting courses. From the second semester, each student chooses a course and learns separately to determine the field of study to go on.

Year 2 & 3
Special Courses
■Visual Design
Graphic Design, Editorial Design, Illustration, Typography, Digital Publishing, Advertisement Design, Photographic Expression

Students learn skills and the way of thinking about communication design through printing media such as newspaper and magazines from basic to practical level.

■Media Design
3D Computer Graphics, Web, Video Art, Animation

Students learn from basic to application about computers and video arts as well as planning skills to develop contents.

■Space Design
Interior Design, Product Design

Students learn design for comfortable space and products considering of usability from the viewpoint of a person who uses the space or the products.

■Image Creation

Students learn how to be artists who pursuit free expressions regardless genre and are capable to present for society.

■Fine Arts

Students learn drawings as expression methods, not only skills required for production, but also cultivating free and variety of ideas and sensibilities.

Academic Performance & Installation Art Program
It is one of the aspects of our school that students can learn from a wide range of elective courses in addition to the particular courses. Students can choose from the two major fields, 'Academic' which delves deeper into thought and history about art and design, and 'Figurative' focuses performance and appreciation.
Post-Graduate Program
This program is for graduates of ASABI or equivalent in educational backgrounds or experiences. Each student individually decides on a theme for study and carry out it and its production with an instructor on a man-to-man basis for one year.
Transfer System
This is the system that a student who finished the first year at an art school or a university can transfer to a second year program of our school when there is a room in the class. There is an examination and the screening system follows the general examination system.
Careers after Graduation
Graphic designer, Illustrator, Photographer, a position in the field of multimedia such as games and internet, Video Art including movie director, interior designer, product designer, artists in various fields
